APRIP’s future hangs in the balance

Cupper calls for assistance for Victorian wine grape growers

MEMBER for Mildura Ali Cupper has written to Victoria’s Minister for Agriculture, Mary-Anne Thomas requesting Government support for wine grape growers in the Mildura electorate.
“Our growers are in a precarious position at the moment due to changes to global demand and supply for wine grapes, and the situation doesn’t look likely to be resolved anytime soon,” Ms Cupper said.

Rehabilitation services delivered for Mildura

YEARS of campaigning by Member for Mildura Ali Cupper and local stakeholders for the establishment of a residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility in the state’s North West has finally paid off, after $36 million in funding was secured in today’s 2022 Victorian State Budget.

Preparations underway for drug and alcohol meeting

The stakeholders include representatives from Sunraysia Community Health Services, Mallee District Aboriginal Services and the Local Aboriginal Justice Action Committee.
