Supporting Indigenous communities through COVID-19 vaccine rollout

Member for Mildura Ali Cupper has congratulated local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members for rolling up their sleeves to be vaccinated.
Over 50 per cent of the North West region’s Indigenous population aged 15+ has received their first dose, and Ms Cupper has called for greater support for Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs) in delivering the COVID-19 vaccination roll out.

What a difference a week makes

NORTH West Victoria has significantly improved its rate of vaccination against COVID-19 in the last seven days.
Last week, the weekly vaccination rate suggested that the wider region would have 70 per cent of its population aged 16 and over fully vaccinated by October 21, and 80 per cent would be fully vaccinated by November 6.
